Michael Hernandez is a pastor, church planter, content creator, husband, and father with a heart to help people genuinely follow Jesus.

For more than a decade, Michael and his wife, Jessica, have served the local church in a variety of roles. Together, they have pastored two churches, helped build ministries, developed leaders, and walked with people through different seasons of faith, calling, and life.

Michael’s ministry has included young adult ministry, church planting, pastoral leadership, preaching, leadership development, and helping pastors and churches become healthier and more effective. Through those experiences, he has seen both the beauty of serving God and the danger of allowing ministry, responsibility, and public influence to become louder than a private relationship with Jesus.

That tension has shaped much of what Michael shares today.

Through teaching, writing, videos, devotionals, and conversations, Michael focuses on helping people know Jesus more deeply, grow in their faith, live with conviction, build healthy families, and follow God faithfully in everyday life.

Michael is also the founder of Revival Leadership Collective, an organization created to help pastors build healthier, stronger churches and to provide practical support, resources, and encouragement for ministry leaders.

He and Jessica are currently raising their four children — Liam, Rylan, Lukas, and Emarie — in Orange County, California, where they are building ALTR Church.
